Breaking ground on eco-friendly care home in Havant!

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve officially broken ground at our latest project site – a state-of-the-art care home in Havant that’s set to shake up the industry.

On Wednesday 5th February, our Company Partner, Edward Moore, donned his hi-vis jacket and protective gear, picked up a spade and made the first hole to ceremonially mark the start of construction and our commitment to this exciting project.

Our new Havant care home is designed to be eco-friendly and self-sustaining. With solar panels and a lush green roof, we’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint and creating a sustainable future. But that’s not all – this isn’t just about being green; it’s about providing the best possible environment for our residents with the latest best practise in dementia design.

We’ve teamed up with both Elevation and Feltham Construction to bring this vision to life. Their expertise and commitment to quality and purpose align perfectly with our mission to provide innovative and compassionate care. Together, we’re creating a place where comfort meets innovation, care is delivered with heart, and every detail is designed with the well-being of our residents in mind.

Making our homes feel less clinical and more like vibrant community hubs are the main drivers of our developments. And our latest addition is no different. Havant is a key part of our South Coast expansion, where we’re rolling out a series of new, high-quality care homes. These homes are designed to offer comfortable and empowering living spaces for residents with diverse needs and preferences.

Our care home in Havant will feature 78 bedrooms, set in beautifully landscaped and accessibly friendly grounds. The H-shaped building incorporates five households in a part two, part three-storey design. The design uses the natural landscape to blend the care home seamlessly into its surroundings, minimising its impact while creating cosy and secure spaces for our residents to enjoy, both indoors and out.
