Welcome Fiona, Anavo’s new Regional Operations Manager!

Our portfolio of care homes continues to grow across the UK. And with that, we are delighted to announce that the Anavo team is expanding too. Welcome Fiona White! The newest addition to our team. Joining Anavo as the new Regional Operations Manager for the South of England, she brings a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence in care.

Fiona’s Journey so far…

Fiona began her career in sales and marketing, with 13 years of experience spanning advertising, the tech industry, and cable TV. Although not directly related to care, the experience enhanced Fiona’s skillset and broadened her business acumen.

At the age of 28, she made a career shift to healthcare. Fiona started out as a Healthcare Assistant at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Nursing (BN) Degree with first-class honours from the University of Wales, Swansea.

Dedicated to learning and providing the best care, Fiona undertook further MSc modules in dementia studies and frailty. This culminated in her completion of the Older Persons Fellowship at the prestigious Florence Nightingale School of Nursing, King’s College, London.

With a deep-rooted passion for elderly care and nursing, Fiona held senior leadership roles at prominent healthcare organisations. Her dedication and support lead teams to achieve ‘Outstanding’ CQC ratings. As a Registered General Manager of a large, luxurious care home for 107 residents, Fiona transformed the facility from a ‘Requires Improvement’ rating to ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding in Care’. Eventually, she achieved Outstanding in 4 out of 5 CQC Key Lines of Enquiry.

In 2018, Fiona was promoted to Regional Operations, where she has continued to share her expertise to enhance the care industry. Some of her achievements include: overseeing the commissioning of new facilities, developing effective care practices and maintaining high standards of compliance and financial efficiency.

Joining Anavo’s Regional Operations team…

Expanding our portfolio of care homes in the South, we went on the hunt for an experienced Regional Operations Manager to help support our team. Welcoming Fiona White, Anavo’s Partner Jamie Braganza stated:

Fiona’s role will involve supporting and overseeing all of our care homes in the south of England including Lindridge, Surbitonian Gardens, Wessex Lodge and Berehill House.
